About the Role The Construction Superintendent is responsible for day-to-day/full site leadership and execution on residential, commercial and hospitality construction projects. This is a hands-on superintendent role requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, enforce safety, and deliver work to high quality standards. You will work closely with a team of professionals and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and on budget. This role is ideal for a superintendent that has experience working with a general contractor who is ready for greater ownership and growth. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities
• Coordinate and lead subcontractors, site staff, and trades
• Plan and execute daily and weekly construction schedules
• Enforce health and safety regulations and company safety policies
• Ensure all work meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate site logistics, materials, and deliveries
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain daily logs and reports
• Collaborate with CMs, architects, engineers, cross-functional teams throughout construction project
• Identify and resolve project and on site issues efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized and productive job site and culture

Years of experience: 5+ years in a Superintendent role with a general contractor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a construction superintendent for a general contractor
• Background and experienced working in high-end commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Ground-up construction through to completion, renovations, additions and fit-outs
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, project coordination and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to run efficient, disciplined job sites
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and safety management
• Ability to read, interpret and execute construction drawings and specifications
• Experienced in managing large teams, multiple trades and coordinating subcontractors
• Proficient in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office); Buildertrend knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to proactively address project challenges
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work on active construction sites and lift heavy materials as required
• Local knowledge, Caribbean or island project experience is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
