A convenience store clerk (or store check) manages daily front-end operations, including operating cash registers, processing payments, and providing customer service. Key duties involve stocking shelves, monitoring inventory, cleaning, and ensuring store security, all while maintaining a fast, friendly environment. Key Responsibilities Cashier Operations: Efficiently scans items, handles cash/card transactions, processes lottery/coupons, and balances the till. Customer Service: Greets customers, answers inquiries, and resolves complaints. Stocking & Merchandising: Stocks shelves, coolers, and displays; rotates inventory to ensure freshness. Store Maintenance: Keeps the store clean, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning dispensers. Safety & Security: Monitors for theft, checks identification for age-restricted items (alcohol/tobacco), and follows safety procedures
