Maintenance Person

We are currently seeking a dependable Janitorial Maintenance Technician to manage the daily cleaning and light maintenance of our facility. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, healthy environment and respond promptly to building needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, and sanitizing restrooms and lunchrooms.
• Clean and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas.
• Maintain floors through spot cleaning, buffing, and scheduled stripping/waxing.
• Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
• Complete light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and performing paint touch-ups.
• Secure the building by locking doors, setting alarms, and following opening/closing procedures.
• Monitor and report safety hazards, leaks, or damage to the supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, and chemical handling guidelines.

Requirements

• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency with cleaning equipment, such as buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Basic maintenance or handyman skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and follow a checklist.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Flexible availability for morning, evening, or weekend shifts.
