Sales and Inventory Clerk

We seek to employ a highly reliable and honest individual to fill the captioned position. This person will assist the Manager on a daily basis by performing the following roles:  Labelling and packing of goods in an organised and easy to find manner  Checking to ensure that the correct type and quantities of goods was received based on orders.  Documenting and taking pictures of abnormal stock received and reporting any issues to the Manager.  Highlighting goods that need to be reordered in due course and recommend appropriate quantities.  Identifying slow- and fast-moving stocks for Manager’s close attention  Filing of invoices and other business documents for future reference  Locating goods for customers. This may involve climbing a 5 feet ladder and the lifting parts that are inexcess of 40lbs periodically.  Cleaning of floors and other high use areas on a daily basis.  Communicating with customers and understanding their needs with an aim to identifying appropriate solutions.  Contacting customers regarding the status of their orders.  Perform any other duties that are appropriate for role and as requested by the Manager periodically. Suitable candidates should have 3-4 year progresssive experience in an auto parts store Regarding the sales portfolio, the individual will represent me in my absence. Vacation and sick leave are based on statutory requirements.
