WAITRESS

Thai Orchid is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Waitress will be responsible for providing excellent dining service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customers have a pleasant dining experience. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and teamwork to maintain the high service standards of Thai Orchid

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES

• Greet and welcome customers in a warm and professional manner
• Present menus, explain specials, and answer customer questions about food and beverages
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and correctly
• Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service
• Monitor customer satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Process bills and handle payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
• Follow all restaurant policies and food safety regulations
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, polite, and professional attitude
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Basic math skills for handling payments and bills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays when needed
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine or Thai food is an advantage but not required
• With a clean police record
