Job Title: Account Manager Advantage International Management (Cayman) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its captive insurance management team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients, prepare financial statements and regulatory filings, coordinate board meetings, and liaise with CIMA, auditors, actuaries, and other service providers to ensure clients remain compliant with all applicable Cayman Islands laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Cayman Islands regulatory environment, including the Insurance Act (As Revised), the Companies Act (As Revised), regulations issued by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority ('CIMA'), the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act (As Revised), and the International Tax Co-operation (Economic Substance) Act (As Revised).
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of International Insurers domiciled in Puerto Rico.
Prepare quarterly management financial statements and annual US GAAP compliant financial statements to tight deadlines.
Assist the President with licensing applications for new clients, including the preparation of draft business plans and financial projections in line with the application feasibility study.
Demonstrate an ability to interpret complex insurance-related reports, particularly actuarial reports on unpaid loss and loss adjustment expenses.
Liaise with all client service providers including Legal Counsel, Independent Actuaries, External Auditors, Insurance Consultants, Tax Advisors, Banks, and Investment Managers.
Act as a key representative of the insurance manager and point of contact for all client relationships.
Prepare investment portfolio analysis and review the composition of same to ensure compliance with approved investment policy.
Ability to act as an Authorized Signatory and/or Director to Licensed Class B Insurers, maintaining compliance with CIMA's Directors Registration and Licensing regime.
Execute payment processing in a fiduciary capacity in accordance with internal control processes.
Assist in the collection and maintenance of beneficial ownership and due diligence information in line with the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act (As Revised) and current AML/CFT operating guidelines.
Ensure all client-related statutory filings are made in line with the applicable Acts and Regulations, including annual returns and audited financial statements submitted via the REEFS Portal.
Coordinate meetings of the Board of Directors and Shareholders, prepare and present all pertinent materials for same promptly.
Ensure all proposed changes to business plans are compliant with the memorandum and articles of association / shareholder agreements.
Ensure all regulatory applications and notifications, including annual fee and licence renewal filings, are submitted to CIMA on time.
Prepare consolidated group financial statements every quarter to tight deadlines.
Assist with ongoing training and support to Administrative Staff, including updates on evolving CIMA reporting and compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with a minimum of five (5) years' combined experience in public accounting and captive insurance management.
Postgraduate degree in Accounting or a related field.
Working knowledge of current Cayman Islands beneficial ownership, AML/CFT, and economic substance compliance requirements.
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and to prioritize tasks as needed.
Advanced knowledge of Sage Accounting and Microsoft Office.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Excellent command of written and spoken English is required. This role involves direct, unsupervised communication with CIMA, external auditors, actuaries, and international clients, and the preparation of regulatory filings, board materials, and financial statements that must meet exacting standards of written accuracy; English is the language of record for all Cayman Islands regulatory and corporate filings. In accordance with the Cayman Islands Immigration Transition Act, preference will be given to suitably qualified and experienced Caymanians.
