The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of professional sound, lighting, video equipment, and related AV systems for various events and productions.
Setting up, operating, and maintaining professional audio, lighting, and video equipment and associated systems Working with advanced AV technologies including digital mixers, automated lighting consoles, media servers, audio engineering systems, and Dante networks Providing technical support for live events and productions, including on-site troubleshooting Ensuring all equipment is properly configured, tested, and maintained This is a front-facing role requiring a professional appearance and strong communication skills. The ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing, is essential. The standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The role also requires flexibility, including potentially significant overtime for event setup, execution, and breakdown. All statutory benefits will be provided in accordance with Cayman Islands labour regulations, including: Overtime pay at time-and-a-half Double pay on public holidays Other applicable statutory entitlements Requirements 5–6 years of relevant experience in Audio Visual Technician or similar role Strong hands-on experience with professional AV equipment Knowledge of digital mixers, automated lighting consoles, media servers, audio engineering systems, and Dante networks (strong advantage) Computer and basic networking knowledge (advantage) Strong technical troubleshooting skills Professional communication and client-facing experience High School Diploma or equivalent qualification Documents Required Before Job Offer Police Clearance Certificate
