Professional Health Care Provider Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Applicants must be familiar with all aspects of Clinical/Retail Pharmacy Operations
All eligible Applicants MUST have an accredited and accepted Pharmacy Technician Licensing Board PHARMACY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION/DIPLOMA; within the countries as allowed by the Cayman Islands Health Practice Law, and MUST BE registered with the Cayman Islands Health Practice Commission
An additional College or University Degree with Background in the Medical or Sciences would be preferred
Have no less than five years and ideally more than six years of experience in a busy Clinical/Retail Pharmacy
All aspects of filling of Prescriptions and assisting with Pharmacy operations in line with the duties of a Pharmacy Technician
A working knowledge of QS1/NRx Pharmacy Software procedures and protocol is an asset and ideally preferred
Ordering OTC and Rx goods, and inventory distribution of supplies for both front and Rx sides of the Pharmacy
Merchandising of OTC and Rx items
Track Pharmacy inventory, maintain proper inventory control and keep up with ordering
Pharmacy workplace maintenance, prep, and Rx fill procedures
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and G-mail program operations
Excellent customer service skills and understanding are required both in person and on the telephone
Must be willing to be taught proficient cash register skills and money handling procedures
Able to work independently in a busy environment
Must be able to work Saturdays
45 hours, six days per week
