Portfolio & Investment Analyst

Job Purpose

The Portfolio & Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting investment-focused research and providing analytical support to guide portfolio construction, trading strategies, and overall investment decision-making. The role combines market research with direct input into investment strategies, ensuring data-driven insights that support both the firm’s portfolio performance and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on global market trends, investor behavior, and economic indicators relevant to the firm’s investment strategies.
• Provide actionable insights to the Chief Investment Officer and investment team to inform portfolio allocation, trading decisions, and asset selection.
• Support the monitoring and evaluation of fixed income, equity, and alternative investment opportunities.
• Prepare detailed reports, investment memoranda, and presentations for senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Track regulatory and macroeconomic developments with potential impact on trading and investment activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify portfolio risks, optimization opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in investment management, trading, or market research within financial services.
• Proven track record of analyzing and executing investment strategies, with exposure to fixed income and alternative assets.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.

Working Hours

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility required for international market hours and travel.
