About the Role PRO STARS LTD is seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher/Carpenter to join our site teams. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and able to deliver high-quality finishes on schedule. Key Duties Install, hang, and secure drywall; metal/wood stud framing. Tape, mud, sand, and finish to paint-ready level (including Level 5 where required). Apply joint compound, smooth seams, and repair surface imperfections. Install trims, corner beads, and finish carpentry such as doors, frames, and baseboards. Read drawings, measure accurately, and ensure clean, safe work areas. Coordinate with site supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards. Specific Trade Requirements This position requires proven skill in drywall finishing and interior surface preparation. The successful candidate must be able to deliver perfectly smooth walls and ceilings by applying and sanding multiple coats of joint compound, ensuring all joints, screw holes, and corners are seamlessly finished. Experience in applying textures, handling drywall tools, and preparing surfaces for painting or decoration is essential. Requirements 3+ years’ proven experience in drywall finishing and carpentry. Strong finishing skills (taping/mudding/sanding), framing, and general fit-out. Able to lift 50 lbs+, work at heights, and in outdoor/indoor site conditions. Punctual, team-oriented, and committed to safe work practices. Own basic hand tools and transport an asset. Clean Police Clearance and two (2) recent reference letters required. Hours Standard 45 hours per week; evenings/weekends/overtime as project needs require.
