We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Senior Mason with a minimum of 18 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess master-level expertise in all facets of masonry, structural concrete work, and finishing. Job Duties and Responsibilities Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret architectural blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation procedures. Material Preparation & Application: Mix mortar, cement, and concrete to exact specifications. Lay building materials, including concrete blocks, bricks, structural tiles, and natural stone, to construct or repair walls, partitions, and other structures. Concrete Work: Pour, level, and finish concrete for foundations, floors, driveways, and columns. Structural Integrity: Ensure all masonry structures are level, vertically aligned, and structurally sound, utilizing plumb bobs, levels, and laser measurement tools. Site Management: Estimate material requirements accurately to minimize waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 18+ years of verifiable, professional masonry experience in both commercial and residential construction. Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of various masonry techniques, materials, and specialized tools. Physical Endurance: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in a hot, tropical climate, including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing. Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and an eye for aesthetic finishing in stonework and block laying. Team Player: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with site managers, carpenters, and other tradesmen. Credentials: A valid police clearance certificate and clean driver's license (Group 2 or higher preferred). Salary, Benefits, and Compensation Salary/Hourly Wage: CI$12.00 per hour (minimum) Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week. Health Insurance, Pension and Vacation.
