An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating or Rotorcraft Helicopter as appropriate that is type-rated in the appropriate aircraft in which the pilot is to act as Pilot-in-Command Knowledge of the Flight Operations Manual, Training Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, the provisions of Title 14 of the CFRs, and standards necessary to carry out the duties of the position A minimum of 2500 flight hours logged with either 500 hours as PIC, 500 hours in that type of aircraft, or a combination of the two A First-Class FAA Medical Certificate The capability to speak and understand English for radiotelephony communications as specified in ICAO Annex 1
Ensure aircraft is airworthy, registered, and required documentation is onboard Ensure crewmembers have valid Pilot Certificates, Medical Certificates, passports, and visas as required Participate in the Safety Management System Establish weather minimum requirements and flight crew qualifications Ensure crew submission of timely and accurate Electronic Flight Logs Perform the duties of the Standards Captain, manage and assist in development of standard operating procedures, and authorize changes to those procedures Establish processes to ensure all airports, heliports/helipads and routes served by the operator are suitable and meet company requirements Ensure annual renewal of CBP stickers and Overflight Exemption Authorization Manage local and foreign aircraft crews Conduct company line checks Annually
