Accounting Officer

The applicant’s responsibilities will be

• Process vendor and supplier invoices, prepare cheques.
• Prepare and reconcile all accounts payable and accounts receivable

subledger to general ledger monthly.

• Enter and reconcile cheques cashed to accounting software and prepare

monthly bank reconciliations.

• Respond to Vendor & Customer accounting inquiries as required.
• Research and resolve customer problems related to billing and payment and

escalate any customer issues that require assistance.

• Receive customer payments and apply towards accounts receivable

subledger

• Assist with the preparation of reports as needed.
• Carry out other related accounting duties as may be required by

management.

The applicant must have

• Bachelor's Degree or an Associate Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Accounting.
• Experienced using QuickBooks.
• Sound computer skills, proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must show commitment to learning and adopting new processes as they

come online in the Accounting field; as well as demonstrate a willingness to be trained on new software applications which may be brought into the suite of resources available to the business.
