Assistant Line Cook – Treats Restaurant Employer: Treats Restaurant Position: Assistant Line Cook Employment Type: Full-time Treats Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of menu items and catering orders while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing ingredients, and preparing sauces.
• Cook food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, steaming, and using other cooking methods.
• Work on the hot range and assist in preparing breakfast, lunch, and catering orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Coordinate effectively with other kitchen employees and work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Assist with catering functions and special events as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in busy restaurants or commercial kitchens.
• Knowledge and experience in multi-cuisine cooking, including Asian, Caribbean, Mexican, Italian, and Indian cuisines.
• Experience working on a hot line/hot range in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to work early morning shifts for breakfast service and extended hours during busy seasons and catering events.
• Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as part of the regular work schedule.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
• This is a long-term position, and the successful candidate must be willing to commit to a minimum employment contract of two (2) to three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance and company policies.
