The Associate Director - Management Company Services is responsible for supporting the oversight and delivery of management company activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory, operational, and governance requirements. The role will support the Managing Director in executing the department’s strategy while contributing to the development and enhancement of processes, controls, and frameworks. Given the evolving nature of the organization, this position requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment and contribute to the build-out of the Management Company Services function, including supporting Core Income Generating Activities (CIGA) where applicable. This position requires strong technical knowledge of asset management operations, governance, and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to manage stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives. This role is suited to an individual who is comfortable working in an evolving environment and motivated to contribute to building and shaping processes and frameworks.
Primary Contacts
Experience - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field. Professionally qualified (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent preferred). 7–10+ years’ experience in financial services, asset management, or related environment. Experience in management company services, fund operations, governance, or regulatory oversight is highly desirable. Experience working in or supporting regulated environments. Exposure to process development or improvement is a strong advantage. Knowledge - Understanding of asset management operations and governance frameworks. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Cayman Islands (including economic substance). Knowledge of CIGA and management company obligations is highly desirable. Understanding of compliance frameworks (AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, etc.). Skills and Abilities - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
