Senior Execution Trader

We are a global macro hedge fund managing over US$1.5 billion in assets, with offices in Switzerland and the Cayman Islands. Known for disciplined risk management and a differentiated cross-asset approach, we operate with a lean, collaborative team. We seek an experienced Execution Trader to join our Cayman Islands office, covering primarily US markets and, when required, Asian markets. Reporting directly to the Founder/CIO, you will execute trades, manage portfolio risk, and support investment strategies across global markets. This role requires independence, flexibility, and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades across equities, equity derivatives, rates, fixed income, FX, and volatility products.
• Partner with the Founder/CIO to implement discretionary macro strategies.
• Monitor portfolio exposures, liquidity, risk, and P&L.
• Maintain relationships with prime brokers, counterparties, and trading desks.
• Analyze macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, and geopolitical events.
• Enhance trading processes, execution frameworks, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in execution trading within a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, investment bank, or institutional asset manager.
• Buy-side experience supporting a portfolio manager is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of global macro markets, cross-asset trading, market microstructure, and risk management.
• Experience trading equities, rates, FX, volatility, and cash instruments.
• Proficiency with Broadridge Paladyne, Citi CFOF, JP Execute, JP Neovest, Reactive Markets, and Bloomberg EMSX is essential.
• Relevant university degree required; CFA or similar qualification is advantageous.

Compensation Salary of US$175,000–225,000, plus a discretionary bonus, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
