Job Description

This is for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support Construction Managers on a variety of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are administered efficiently, professionally, and cost-effectively from inception through completion, while maintaining accurate project records and supporting overall project success. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to Construction Managers, etc.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage project documentation including purchase orders, RFIs, RFPs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and closeout manuals.
  • Attend project meetings, record detailed minutes, distribute meeting records, and track action items.
  • Assist with project scheduling, manpower planning, progress reporting, cost tracking, and coordination activities.
  • Support procurement of materials and supplies locally and internationally.
  • Assist with client invoicing, subcontractor billing, and financial documentation.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare design details, as-built drawings, and related documentation using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction project administration.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Experience preparing and coordinating contracts and contract revisions.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
  • Formal qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field would be an asset.
