Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and adaptable teacher to join our school in a dual-role position delivering Physical Education across Primary and Key Stage 3, alongside classroom teaching within Early Years (EYFS). This is a 50/50 split role requiring energy, creativity, and a passion for both sport and early childhood education. The successful candidate will inspire pupils through high-quality PE instruction while also nurturing young learners in a stimulating EYFS environment. Key Responsibilities Physical Education (Primary & KS3)

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Primary and KS3.
• Develop pupils’ physical skills, coordination, teamwork, and confidence.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and a lifelong enjoyment of sport and physical activity.
• Organise and support sporting events, competitions, and school teams.
• Assess and track pupil progress in PE.
• Ensure safe practice and appropriate risk management in all physical activities.

Early Years (EYFS Classroom Teaching)

• Deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan, assess, and adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues to maintain consistency and high standards.

Wider Responsibilities

• Contribute to whole-school activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers.
• Uphold excellent behaviour management and safeguarding practices.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across phases.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• At least 5 years’ experience teaching Physical Education in Primary and/or KS3 settings.
• Experience working within Early Years (EYFS) in Cayman Islands settings.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and primary curriculum frameworks as well as OES inspection framework.
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• High energy, flexibility, and a positive, proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Experience delivering both PE and EYFS teaching within the same role.
• Coaching or sports leadership qualifications.
• Experience with UK or Cayman Islands curriculum.
• First Aid certification.
• SEN experience.
