Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and qualified candidate to join our Island Supply Service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong technical expertise in commercial foodservice equipment and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair high-end commercial kitchen equipment (hot and cold side).
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial ice machines.
• Install and maintain dishwasher and laundry chemical dispensing systems.
• Install and service hot and cold beverage dispensing systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and servicing on commercial equipment (monthly, semi-annual, and annual schedules).
• Install and maintain hood exhaust systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify required replacement parts.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls when required.

The ideal candidate will

• Have extensive experience working with premium commercial equipment brands including Rational, TRUE, Amerikooler, Unox, Vivreau, and Manitowoc.
• Possess a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience.
• Hold a valid Group 3 driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials.
• If necessary, be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and public holidays.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to complete service jobs efficiently.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; experience with Ezybooks is an asset.
• Have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be a dependable team player with a professional and approachable manner.
