Greet families, children, staff, and visitors, fostering a warm and welcoming environment and act as the primary contact for parents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and supportive manner.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to enhance trust and satisfaction.
Provide regular updates to parents regarding student performance, progress reports.
Ensure a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment for parents and students.
Handle admission inquiries, conduct school tours, and explain curriculum/programs to parents.
Guide parents through the enrollment process, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately.
Monitor student retention by proactively addressing parent concerns and promoting the school’s value proposition.
Maintain student records, attendance, and relevant documentation in line with school policies, safety and hygiene measures while ensuring confidentiality.
Assist with school inspections reports, documents for submission, etc
Assist with scheduling parent-teacher meetings, school events, and field trips.
Support the coordination of school communications including newsletters, notices, and announcements.
Monitor office and classroom supply inventory; place orders or purchase items as needed.
Handle petty cash, school expenses, tuition billings and payment collections
Support documentation for inspections and licensing requirements.
Adhere to and implement school policies and procedures.
Assist with maintaining HR files, timesheets, and leave records of teachers.
Address staff concerns or queries, resolving issues where possible or escalating to management when required.
Requirement
2 to 3 years of previous experience in school administration, customer service, office administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with parents, children, staff, and visitors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and administrative systems
experience working in a preschool, daycare, or educational institution would be considered an asset
Familiarity with school licensing, inspection, and compliance procedures is an advantage
