Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all warehouse operations on a daily basis.
  • Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse stock in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.
  • Track and record all incoming and outgoing materials using inventory software.
  • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to technicians and project teams.
  • Coordinate material deliveries to job sites and customer locations.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented and updated.
  • Assist in procurement activities by reporting low stock levels and reordering requirements.
  • Prepare purchase requests and communicate with suppliers regarding material availability.
  • Maintain records of warranties, equipment manuals, and product documentation.
  • Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report findings promptly.
  • Ensure proper storage of HVAC equipment, refrigerants, tools, and spare parts.
  • Maintain warehouse safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse handling equipment safely.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
  • Coordinate with service managers, project managers, and technicians regarding material requirements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports.
  • Assist in tracking company tools and equipment issued to field personnel.
  • Ensure warehouse security by controlling access and safeguarding company assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and transfers between locations.
  • Support emergency service operations by preparing materials outside regular working hours when required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Previous experience within the HVAC, mechanical, construction, or building services industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using inventory management or ERP software.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports.
  • Forklift certification or proven forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, fittings, and materials is considered a strong asset.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a positive work attitude.
