To assist with managing the store in line with the sales and merchandising plans established and to meet monthly with the Store Manager and Retail Division Manager on progress towards agreed targets and plans
To ensure that the contents of the Retail Operations Employee Handbook are adhered to at all times
To ensure that the store is open for business and correctly staffed throughout the stipulated trading hours and to act as its key holder liable for call out in emergency
Assist with managing and be responsible for the control of stock within the store including conducting inventory counts
To place replenishment orders on a timely basis as instructed by the Store Manager.
To ensure all security aspects of the premises, including surveillance equipment, fire extinguishers and exits, are checked periodically and are in good working order; any defects should be reported immediately to the Retail Division Manager
Assist with maintenance, health and safety within the store and the external premises
Participate in cigar rolling events
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should
Have 3-4 or more years experience working with wide variety of cigar brands
Extensive knowledge of tobacco varieties
Willingness to undertake inventory counts
Strong customer relationship skills
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
GCSE levels in Mathematics and English, or equivalent
Willingness to adapt and be flexible, and to be available at unsocial hours and at weekends/public holidays.
