Vice President - Insurance Services

The Vice President (VP) will lead and co-lead Aon Cayman teams servicing a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance captive accounts. This role is a key relationship, reinsurance programme, financial, and operational lead, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, service providers, and regulatory agencies. As a member of the Aon Cayman leadership team, the VP will partner with executive leadership to deliver on revenue targets, business development, operational effectiveness, and governance, risk, and compliance objectives - particularly across Aon Cayman’s reinsurance captive portfolio. About the Role

Key responsibilities include

Lead and provide strategic oversight on insurance and reinsurance programme structuring across client portfolio Lead and drive consistent delivery of client service excellence across the portfolio Ensure client management agreements are effectively executed Lead, develop, and motivate client service teams to achieve business objectives Serve as a senior relationship lead across multiple clients Oversee the finance and operations function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Review board materials and present relevant information to board members Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Develop and implement policies and procedures in partnership with leadership Oversee the external audit process and manage any arising issues Ensure full compliance with regulatory obligations, including timely filings and implementation of regulatory updates Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service teams, and regulators Lead project delivery and support execution across client service teams Provide oversight and supervision of client service teams Lead performance management for direct reports, including feedback, goal setting, and career development Collaborate with Aon Cayman leadership on treasury review, fund releases, and client contract execution Skills and Experience Extensive experience in insurance/reinsurance programme structuring Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) or insurance/reinsurance qualification (CIP, CRM, ARe) required Experience in reinsurance client business development and regulatory onboarding Non-life financial experience preferred Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams Strong track record of delivering business results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and accounting applications Willingness and ability to travel internationally
