Perform all aspects of glazing work, including the cutting, installation, and repair of glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and other glass structures. Fabricate, install, and repair metal framing systems, including aluminum and steel components for windows, doors, partitions, and facades. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision. Use specialized tools and machinery associated with the trade, including grinders, cutters, glass lifters, and metal fabrication equipment. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites to ensure timely and quality completion of projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Experience in glazing and metal mechanic work. In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the glazing and metal trade. Proficient in the use of specialized tools and equipment. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and installing heavy glass and metal components. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
