Investment Manager - Almar Capital (Cayman) Ltd

We are a Grand Cayman-based financial advisory firm helping global clients on their portfolio allocation.

The candidate should have

• Strong academic background in economics, engineering, business or accounting
• Ideally, an MBA degree of CFA charter
• 10+ years of experience in financial advisory or wealth management
• Familiarity with the hedge fund industry
• Fluency in English and Portuguese
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Availability to travel frequently

Main responsibility will be director, investment research, due diligence on offshore hedge funds with the aim of formulating recommendations to clients, the day to day management and operation. Role will also involve advising clients on portfolio construction, risk control and general investment strategy. It is a full time role, with minimum 40 hours per week, in person, except for frequent travel to visit managers, meet clients and attend investment conferences. Salary CI$ 100,000 plus variable bonus depending on performance.
