PAINTER

OMAR & DWIGHT LTD T/A O & D CONSTRUCTION are seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Painter to perform residential and commercial painting, surface preparation, finishing, and maintenance work while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret job orders and project requirements. Prepare cost estimates and product proposals when required. Mix and match paint colors according to approved formulas. Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching cracks, and repairing holes. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other finishing tools. Perform custom painting and finishing work according to specifications. Carry out preventative maintenance to protect painted surfaces. Maintain ventilation systems, compressed-air equipment, and PPE. Clean and properly maintain brushes, spray guns, and other equipment. Safely use ladders and scaffolding when working at heights. Follow all health, safety, and company procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience; Previous construction or painting experience. Experience painting residential or commercial properties. Knowledge of health and safety standards. Good planning, organization, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Good balance and physical strength. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in extreme weather conditions. Physically and mentally fit. Clean police record.
