You oversee a portfolio of clients across a range of valuation and financial modeling engagements, including business and asset valuations, complex financial models, transaction support, dispute-related valuations, and strategic decision support. You will take a lead role in delivering high quality valuation analyses and bespoke financial models, ensuring outputs are technically robust, well reasoned, and tailored to client objectives.

You can expect to

  • Manage a complex portfolio of clients, lead engagement teams, and provide expert advice on key technical areas such as valuation methodologies, model design, key assumptions, sensitivities, and scenario analysis, translating complex financial concepts into clear and practical insights.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and lead the adoption of and training on new technologies, and on regulatory and industry standards.
  • Develop skills, adaptability, and resilience within your team, effectively resource engagements, and work with the broader Deloitte network and external stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, lead business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.

About the team

Deloitte provides Consulting services in valuations, turnaround & restructuring, merger & acquisition (M&A) transactions, forensic investigations, anti-money laundering/anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) compliance, and ancillary services. Our team consists of practitioners with specialist fields of expertise and deep industry knowledge, as well as significant practical experience. You are someone with

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field; or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA)
  • Qualified with an internationally recognized relevant professional designation, e.g. CFA, CBV, ASA, ABV, ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAS or other relevant designation. Background of CPA with CBV or CFA would be preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in valuations, financial modeling, or a combination of audit or related advisory services, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in valuations and financial modeling services, preferably within a professional services firm or large-scale organization
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience including, coaching, mentoring, developing, and leading team members.
  • Experience supporting business development, selling, and delivering related services.
  • Experience directly supporting business growth, managing large-scale client engagements, and with practice management within Financial Services.

Not required, but preferred

  • Experience leading valuations of private equity in investment fund environments.
  • Strong understanding of impairment and going concern assessments, with the ability to oversee analysis in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Exposure to valuations supporting corporate restructuring and complex business combinations.
  • Experience working on valuation engagements within litigation or dispute context(s).
  • Prior experience providing valuation support for audit engagements.

The incumbent will perform the essential functions of this full-time role under normal working conditions, which include a professional office environment at the Deloitte office in Camana Bay. This entails working during standard business hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Flexibility is required to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines, address urgent matters, and coordinate with colleagues in different time zones. A comprehensive remuneration package is being offered with excellent benefits including health insurance, group life and disability insurance, well-being subsidy, professional development allowance, and access to Employee Assistance Programs (“EAP”). Salary will be in the range of US$115,000 to US$150,000, depending on experience and ability. We are currently seeking to fill one (1) vacancy for this position.
