Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator Position includes, but is not limited to

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
• Ensure company equipment, materials, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored securely.
• Collect and dispose of scrap and excess materials
• Observe the distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow and indicate low spots for workers to add material
• Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.

The position requires

• More than 3 years of experience operating Heavy Equipment.
• Any combination of training and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed is qualifying
• Knowledge of equipment, techniques, and tools used in fleet maintenance and recycling processing
• High school graduation or tested equivalent
• Group 4 license is a plus.
