Dentons is seeking a qualified Caymanian, or PR or RERC holder with the right to work, for the full-time role of Counsel within our Litigation team. The successful candidate must be admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands and have 10+ years’ PQE in litigation and insolvency. The role involves managing a range of corporate and commercial litigation, contentious insolvency, and general civil matters before the Grand Court and Court of Appeal. Responsibilities include advising clients, drafting pleadings, and appearing at hearings. The successful candidate should be comfortable conducting hearings independently on matters of moderate complexity, while also supporting partners on larger, more complex cases. Strong file management, client handling, and communication skills are essential. The ability to manage an individual caseload, work both independently and collaboratively, and carry out both advocacy and occasional traditional solicitor work is required. Being a fellow of INSOL is preferred.
