Job Description

IMA Landscaping & Home Maintenance Ltd T/A IMA De Fleurs is seeking a competent, reliable, and hardworking Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and well maintained. Key Responsibilities Maintain and develop gardens and landscaped areas. Cut grass, empty bins, control weeds, and rake leaves. Plant trees, flowers, shrubs, and other plants. Seed and water plants according to seasonal and horticultural requirements. Collect and dispose of garden waste, rubbish, and litter. Produce and maintain attractive garden designs and landscape layouts. Install garden lighting, furniture, and decorative features. Operate, maintain, and perform basic servicing and repairs on garden machinery and powered hand tools. Ensure all gardening equipment is properly maintained and stored. Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety procedures. Order gardening materials and supplies as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Ability to safely operate horticultural machinery and powered hand tools. Sound knowledge of plants, landscaping, and gardening techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour. Available to work weekends and public holidays when required. A clean Police Record is required.
