Janitor

The successful applicant will be employed in the capacity of Janitor and will be responsible for maintaining the building in a clean, safe, orderly, and well-maintained condition. Duties will include general cleaning of the premises, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, cleaning and stocking restrooms, collecting and disposing of garbage, and promptly cleaning spills using appropriate equipment and cleaning products. The Janitor will also be responsible for ensuring that doors are properly secured and locked after hours, notifying the supervisor or manager of any major repairs, damages, or maintenance issues. The successful applicant will maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials, work with contracted cleaning services when necessary, and complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner with minimal supervision. The employee may also be required to perform other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Client and must be willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
