Multipurpose Associate

Position Summary The Multipurpose Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Brokerage by performing a combination of courier, cleaning, administrative, and logistics duties. The role ensures efficient operations, proper handling of packages, and maintenance of a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities Courier Duties

• Deliver and collect packages, documents, and supplies to/from customers, CBC warehouse and port, and service centers.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of packages, sometimes fragile and of high-value.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proof of delivery.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and adhere to schedules.

Cleaning & Office Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of the office and warehouse areas.
• Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping and wiping down of surfaces.
• Ensure the store environment is presentable and customer-ready at all times.
• Monitor and restock cleaning and office supplies.

Administrative Support

• Assist with invoicing, filing, and data entry.
• Support front desk with COLS signups and finding invoices for clearing shipments.
• Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries when needed.
• Help manage office supplies and maintain organized records.

Logistics & Support

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
• Label, organize, and deliver packages as needed.
• Support audit counts and package tracking.
• Prepare packages for dispatch, delivery, or customer pickup.
• Coordinate with overseas partners to ensure smooth logistical flows.

Requirements

Must be able to drive manual. Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirement). Must be able and willing to lift heavy packages. Must have experience in handling and processing consolidated shipments through COLS.
