Job Description
We are accepting applications for the following position
F&B SERVER
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Welcome guests and promptly attend to table
Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations if needed
Share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
Record transactions in the POS system correctly and in a timely manner
Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
Issue checks and accept payment
Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
Provides excellent customer service to all guests
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant is essential
Possess a comprehensive background and knowledge of food & beverage
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints
Ability to troubleshoot effectively
Beverage and wine knowledge required
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
Strong communication skills; able to carry natural conversation with guests
Must maintain a professional image
Ability to lift up to 25lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including working outside of normal business hours (i.e. early morning shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed)
Be able to work inside and outside under various weather conditions
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be exposed to a noisy, humid and hot environment. Temperatures will vary depending on weather.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling or otherwise move objects
Frequently lift 25lbs, occasionally lift 50lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to walk throughout work shift to accomplish tasks
