Customer Accounting Clerk

Island Hospitality is actively seeking qualified applicants for the position outlined below. Island Hospitality is a staffing and manpower outsourcing company providing skilled personnel to businesses across the Cayman Islands. One of our key clients is currently seeking to fill the following position through our manpower services. We are currently inviting experienced applicants to join our client’s team for the position of Customer Accounting Clerk A successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day customer accounting support across multiple client accounts. The role is operational in nature and requires frequent interaction with clients to address billing enquiries, process payments, maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, and support month end accounting tasks. Accuracy, confidentiality, and professional customer communication are essential.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a customer facing role.
• Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably within a business, retail, hospitality, or service environment involving financial responsibility.
• Must be a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (CQP).
• Willing to work weekends and some late evenings to assist with company’s QuickBooks training program to young Caymanians.
• Practical experience handling payments, preparing sales or financial summaries, or supporting customer account records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel for reporting, tracking, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts accurately and meet deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Tagalog is an asset.

Salary Range CI$8.75-CI$10 per month depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include vacation, pension and health insurance. Caymanians preferred
