Disc Jockey (DJ)

Company: Delay Audio The DJ will be responsible for creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere through curated music selection and live mixing. This is a very part-time position, with work scheduled on an as-needed basis, typically covering no more than 7.5 hours per week, primarily during evenings and/or weekends. Key Responsibilities

• Provide DJ services during scheduled events, functions, and venue nights
• Curate and mix music appropriate to the venue’s audience and event type
• Read and respond to crowd energy to maintain an engaging atmosphere
• Coordinate with management or event organizers regarding set times and requirements
• Ensure smooth transitions between sets and any scheduled programming
• Set up and pack down DJ equipment as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DJ
• Strong knowledge of multiple music genres and audience engagement
• Basic understanding of DJ equipment and software
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must have their own equipment
• Be able to operate Pioneer XDJ/CDJ equipment
