Measure, cut and shape, and assemble wood and other building materials Construct and install doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, floors and wooden frames Read and interpret building plans, blueprints and technical drawings Repair and maintain damaged wooden structures and fittings Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Select appropriate materials and calculate measurements for projects Install, adjust and finish wooden fixtures to ensure proper fit and apperance Work alongside other construction workers to complete projects on schedule Maintain a clean and organised work area
