Architect - Design Coordinator

Silverfin is seeking experienced and highly motivated Architect / Design Coordinator to support the planning, design, coordination, and execution of luxury residential and commercial development projects. The successful candidate will work closely with design professionals, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, project schedules, budgets, and Cayman Islands building regulations Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural design activities from concept through construction.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Cayman Islands building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, technical documents, and presentations.
• Utilize BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software to develop and coordinate project designs.
• Conduct site visits and supervise field activities across multiple trades.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract project administration.
• Research, source, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quality products and services.
• Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to problem-solving and strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree or Qualified degree in Architectural Technology preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience.
• Experience working on luxury residential and commercial developments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in pre-contract and post-contract administration.
• Field supervision experience across multiple construction trades.
• Ability to prepare technical and graphic presentations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and client service focus.
