Carpenter/Mason

City Construction Ltd- is seeking to employ highly experienced and skilled Mason/Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated professional capable of delivering high-quality work. Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands Successful Carpenter/Mason should have a love for traditional techniques and be for learning, exceptional problem-solving skills, and should have a natural talent for working with their hands. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years' experience physically fit.

Carpenter’s Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Mason’s Responsibilities

• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Cutting, shaping and dressing materials.
• Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks
• Mixing cement and mortar
• Restoring old and masonry work

Compensation & Benefits Salary: Minimum $13.00 per hour Salary: Maximum $15.00 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week Benefits: Health Insurance, Pension, and Vacation provided in accordance with the Cayman Islands Labor Law.
