Senior Associate

Campbells is seeking to recruit a Senior Associate in our Litigation team in the Cayman Islands. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of Campbells’ litigation, restructuring and insolvency practice by advising clients on a broad range of matters; taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of cases; drafting court documents; assisting with supervising junior attorneys and articled clerks; taking an active role in business development; and marketing the department to existing and potential clients. Key Skills and Experience Applicants should be a Cayman Attorney-at-Law (or eligible to be admitted as such) with:

• A minimum of six years’ post-qualification experience with a leading law firm or set of chambers across a broad range of commercial disputes with a particular emphasis on cross-border insolvency, restructurings, complex commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation and shareholder disputes;
• A minimum of a 2:1 law degree from a reputable institution
• Experience working in an international or offshore law firm;
• Proficiency in advocacy and presentation; with a reputation for precise and persuasive communication;
• A proven ability to manage complex cases, with expertise in drafting, legal research, and reviewing;
• A demonstrated ability to provide rapid, accurate and commercially sound advice to clients within demanding deadlines; and
• Experience in contributing to a cohesive, results-driven team.

Compensation and Benefits Campbells offers an attractive salary and benefits package, and the successful candidate can expect to earn between US$170,000 to US$220,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus a discretionary bonus/commission structure, and statutory benefits as required by law.
