Warehouse, Delivery & Customer Service Assistant Company: Hispacay Group Ltd. Position: Warehouse, Delivery & Customer Service Assistant Schedule: Full-time, including weekends as required Position Summary Hispacay Group is seeking a reliable, organized and customer-focused person to assist with the daily operation of our warehouse, deliveries, order preparation and client follow-up. The role requires someone who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, can maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse, and provides professional service to our clients. Knowledge and experience with specialty foods, imported European products, cheeses, charcuterie, gourmet products and food-service operations will be highly valued. Main Responsibilities Receive, inspect and organize incoming merchandise. Maintain the warehouse clean, organized and safe at all times. Properly store products according to their storage requirements. Monitor refrigerated and temperature-sensitive products. Prepare and assemble customer orders accurately. Pick, pack and stage orders for delivery. Load and unload products when required. Deliver orders to restaurants, hotels, businesses and other clients. Ensure products are delivered in good condition and obtain delivery confirmation when required. Create customer orders, invoices or supporting order documentation. Follow up with clients regarding orders, deliveries and outstanding requirements. Communicate professionally with chefs, purchasing departments, restaurants, hotels and other customers. Assist with inventory counts and stock organization. Identify low-stock items and report inventory discrepancies. Check product dates and assist with stock rotation using FIFO/FEFO principles. Help minimize product damage, spoilage and unnecessary waste. Assist with general warehouse and operational duties as required. Specialty Food Responsibilities The successful candidate should have, or be willing to develop, knowledge of specialty food products, including: European cheeses and dairy products Charcuterie and cured meats Olive oils and gourmet products Conservas and specialty canned foods Imported and premium food products Proper refrigerated and dry-storage procedures Product handling, shelf life and food safety Requirements Previous experience in warehouse operations, food distribution, hospitality, restaurants or specialty foods is preferred. Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate professionally with clients. Comfortable using a computer, email and basic order/inventory systems. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned duties. Ability to lift and move boxes and products as required. Valid driver's licence and ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle. Reliable and punctual. Professional appearance and attitude when dealing with clients. Availability to work weekends and flexible hours when required. Knowledge of specialty foods is strongly preferred. Understanding of basic food safety and proper storage practices is an advantage. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is hands-on, responsible and proactive. This is not only a warehouse position. The employee will interact directly with clients, prepare orders, make deliveries and help ensure the operation runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the warehouse, keep it organized without constant supervision, understand the importance of handling premium food products correctly and provide a high level of service to Hispacay's customers.
