Job description – Audit Manager Is a qualified CA or equivalent with at least four years experience. Alternatively, is not a graduate who operates at a similar level. All promotions to Audit Manager must be approved by partners. The primary responsibility of the audit manager will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients. Will also provide assistance to partners in both client work and in the management of the group and on occasions the wider firm. On occasion may become involved in special assignments on an ad hoc basis.
As an Audit Manager, you will be expected to guide and support the work of more junior staff in planning, executing and finalising recurring external audit engagements, perhaps in tandem with a Supervising Senior. You will need to display rigorous project and financial management on all work, within budgets and reporting timetables. Primarily, your work is aimed at providing an efficient and proactive service to your clients to ensure that their needs are fully met. As an Audit Manager, you will have regular contact with all members of the Audit team. It is imperative that you are able to develop strong working relationships with the members of your team.
