However, as dementia naturally progresses, caregivers must be prepared and willing to provide increasing levels of support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and eventually comprehensive 24/7 care alongside the other caregiver. This is a long-term commitment to growing with the clients' needs. Caregivers will report to the clients' guardian and healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Key Responsibilities Current Care Needs

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of dementia progression and memory care techniques
  • Exceptional patience, empathy, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical capability to assist with transfers, mobility support, and lifting as needed
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a care team
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills in care situations
  • Professional and personal references required
  • Commitment to long-term care relationship as clients' needs evolve

Preferred Qualifications
