Cayman Academy invites applications from suitably qualified and committed educators for the position of Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics aligned with CSEC and CAPE Caribbean curriculum standards.
• Preparing students for external examinations, including CSEC Business Studies, CAPE Business Studies, and Economics (where applicable).
• Teaching key business concepts including entrepreneurship, management, marketing, finance, accounting principles, human resources, and business operations.
• Teaching economic concepts including microeconomics, macroeconomics, resource allocation, markets, government policies, and economic development.
• Developing students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, financial literacy, and decision-making skills.
• Using real-world examples, case studies, and current business/economic issues to enhance student learning.
• Designing assessments, projects, and practical learning experiences that encourage creativity and innovation.
• Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback to support academic growth.
• Maintaining accurate records of student performance, grades, and reports.
• Integrating Christian values, ethics, stewardship, and responsible citizenship into business and economic learning.
• Participating in school worships, extracurricular activities, professional development, and school initiatives.
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
• Demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the mission and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Salary Range: $37,000 - $55,000 Annually - Based on qualifications and experience.
