Associate Dentist

Cayman Dental Services is seeking an experienced part-time/full-time Associate Dental Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, ethics, and infection control.

Responsibilities include

• Examinations: Inspect teeth and gums, review X-rays, and screen for oral diseases.
• Restorative Work: Fill cavities, perform root canals, extract teeth, and fit crowns or bridges.
• Preventative Care: Clean teeth, apply sealants, and give oral hygiene instructions.
• Cosmetic Procedures: Provide teeth whitening, bonding, and veneers.
• Treatment Planning: Create custom care paths and explain options to patients.
• Documentation: Keep detailed, accurate patient treatment notes and charts.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside dental hygienists, assistants, and front desk staff.
• Safety & Hygiene: Keep tools, equipment, and rooms sterile and safe.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in dentistry (DDS, DMD, BDS, or equivalent)
• Current registration with the Cayman Islands Medical & Dental Council (MDC), or eligible for registration.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification clinical experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
