Farmer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as Farmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop production, livestock care, and general farm maintenance. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Planting, sowing, harvesting, and inspecting crops.
• Irrigating farm soil and maintaining ditches, pipes, and pumps.
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides to control insects and weeds.
• Transporting shrubs, plants, and produce using wheelbarrows or tractors.
• Feeding livestock and cleaning/disinfecting pens or cages.
• Herding livestock to pasture for grazing.
• Packing and loading produce for distribution.
• Performing basic maintenance and repairs on fences, gates, and walls.

Working Hours

Normal working hours are on a shift basis, not exceeding 45 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Prior experience working on a farm.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and prolonged outdoor work.
• Sound knowledge of crop production, irrigation methods, and livestock care.
• Competence in operating basic farm machinery and equipment.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, weekends, and shifts as required.
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Awareness of farm health and safety standards and practices.
