Job Description

Masters Immigration and Recruiting Solutions is a small employment agency with just 2 employees, formed to help Caymanians, the Cayman business community find employment and employees, with a focus in home care and assistance. Being a small business we are searching for a person that can wear many hats, be a self-starter and adapt to changing environments. The individual will source and screen candidates for various technical and non-technical roles, but also determine whether they would be a cultural fit for the position. They will also need to maintain an active candidate pipeline for the company to help fill future business goals. They will work closely with individuals, families and internal hiring managers to identify key job responsibilities and qualifications for open roles and find the best talent match for each position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and have prior recruiting experience. Job responsibilities

  • Work with individuals or companies to create specific job postings for open roles.
  • Source candidates to fill job openings by utilizing job boards, social media, hiring events, and varying recruiting avenues.
  • Review resumes and job applications as they come in, then rate candidates within the company’s applicant tracking system.
  • Encourage and incentivize referrals for future
  • Utilize social media sites like LinkedIn to reach passive potential candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers to identify the most qualified candidates to move on to the interview process.
  • Maintain prompt communication throughout all stages of the recruiting process to keep job seekers engaged.
  • Conduct phone screenings and interviews with selected candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks on potential hires.
  • Send out initial offer once approved by the hiring manager.
  • Check-in with the new hire throughout the onboarding period.
  • Maintain an active pipeline for future openings.
  • Facilitate the immigration process if the candidate requires a work visa.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resource management, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and decision-making skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable on current employment laws and regulations impacting recruiting in the Cayman Islands.
  • Ability to create and implement new recruiting strategies for the company.
  • Prior experience using job seeking platforms such as LinkedIn and local Cayman news sources.
