Vampt Motors is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Parts Counterman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is experienced in automotive operations, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and delivers exceptional service to both retail and wholesale customers.
Assist retail & wholesale customers Identify and source parts using catalogues & VIN lookup Process orders, invoices, returns and special-order parts Support inventory control & stock management Handle phone inquiries and counter sales
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive parts counter sales. Strong knowledge of inventory systems, ordering, and parts sourcing. Proficient in Dealer Management Systems (DMS); experience with CDK is a strong advantage. Ability to manage customer interactions, phone inquiries, and counter sales efficiently. Proficient in computer systems, electronic parts cataloging tools, and VIN-based parts lookup. Proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Solid understanding of business operations within an automotive environment. Ability to lift at 50 lbs. or more as required. Clean police records and valid driver’s license.
