Janitorial Supervisor

The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing cleaning operations and ensuring all janitorial services are completed to the highest standards. Working closely with the Janitorial Coordinator, this role involves supervising staff, inspecting job sites, and ensuring employees perform maid services, deep cleaning, and routine cleaning tasks effectively and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Janitorial Coordinator to oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple job sites and contracts
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all cleaning services meet company quality standards
• Supervise janitorial staff performing maid services, deep cleaning, and general cleaning duties
• Ensure employees arrive on time and are prepared for their assigned job sites
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including stepping in to assist with cleaning tasks
• Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of equipment to staff
• Address performance issues, provide feedback, and assist with employee training and development
• Ensure all work is completed to client satisfaction and handle any service concerns promptly
• Maintain communication with staff regarding schedules, expectations, and job requirements
• Support adherence to company policies, safety standards, and cleaning protocols
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial services, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning
• Janitorial supervisor experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between job sites
• Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds
• Comfortable performing cleaning tasks when required

Work Environment

• On-site at various client locations
• Physical and active working conditions

Schedule

• Up to 45 hours per week, based on business needs
