This role is focused on finishing, detail work, and quality construction, supporting residential and commercial projects built to a higher standard. You’ll be working on projects where accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail matter.

Responsibilities

  • Read and execute work based on construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Measure, cut, and install materials with precision and consistency
  • Complete finish carpentry including trim, doors, flooring, and detailed installations
  • Install cabinetry, custom millwork, and specialty features to a high standard
  • Perform framing, layout, and general carpentry as required
  • Repair and maintain existing structures and finishes
  • Work closely with site teams and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Take ownership of work and ensure it meets quality expectations

Years of Experience: More than 5 years

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Carpenter with a general contractor
  • Proven experience in high quality residential, commercial and hospitality projects with strong emphasis on quality and craftsmanship with a general contractor. From ground up build, to interior finishing and project completion.
  • Experience with finish carpentry and detailed installations (custom millwork, cabinetry, trim, doors, specialty finishes, etc)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings and execute work with precision
  • Skilled with hand and power tools and able to work efficiently
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, accurate work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
  • Professional, reliable, organized with a consistent and proactive approach to work
  • Able to lift heavy items and equipment as required
  • Local knowledge, Caribbean or island project experience is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle transportation required
