Job Description

As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our clients’ brands to life on social. Working closely with our Social Media Manager, creative teams, and client managers, you’ll be responsible for planning, developing, scheduling, and tracking content across multiple platforms. You’ll also help identify trends, manage engagement, and support the execution of campaign strategies—ensuring every post serves a purpose. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role best suited for someone who’s organized, collaborative, and always plugged into what’s trending online. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do at Heights ● Assist in the development of content calendars based on campaign objectives and platform best practices ● Write engaging captions, tailor messaging for different audiences, and maintain each brand’s voice and tone ● Schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) using planning tools like Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar ● Coordinate with internal creative teams to produce creative content ● Monitor performance and compile reports on KPIs, including engagement, reach, and follower growth ● Engage with communities by responding to comments, DMs, and tagged content, and identifying UGC opportunities ● Stay on top of social media trends, audio, memes, and platform updates ● Support social campaigns, giveaways, influencer partnerships, and paid social efforts ● Produce original content, including photos, videos, and engaging reels, ensuring all visuals are aligned with brand aesthetics and goals. ● Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to optimize content based on analytics and engagement About You ● 2-3 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role (agency experience is a plus) ● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. ● Strong writing and copyediting skills with an understanding of tone, clarity, and purpose ● Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, and emerging platforms ● Experience with content scheduling tools like Sprout Social, Agorapulse, and Meta Business Suite ● Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite ● Understands data analysis and performance tracking in order to compile monthly reports ● Create social content or clearly brief the creative teams on client needs for asset creation ● Write clear, concise and engaging copy for various social media platforms. ● Highly organized, able to manage multiple clients, calendars, and deadlines ● A natural communicator with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of timing ● Always curious, always plugged in, and ready to jump on a trend—as long as it’s on brand ________________________________________ What You’ll Love About Working Here ● Creative, fast-paced agency environment where no two days are the same. ● 15 days’ vacation for work-life balance. ● Heath and Pension coverage. ● Professional development opportunities ● Monthly team lunches & happy hours (on us!). When starting with Heights, Ltd. as Social Media Coordinator, you'll start earning between $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 annually, based on experience. As you progress with the company within this role, opportunities for a pay increase will be determined through annual evaluations.
